Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Stihl 010 av chainsaw, chain oiler, air mixture
QuestionHi John
Well I took your advice, and I rebuilt my carb and changed my fuel filter. I adjusted the air mixture screws and it worked like a charm. It was running beautifully and I thought there was a problem with the chain oiler, but there wasn't. SO everything was running smoothly and I was cutting a few logs and then it started to bog out. It would bog out and then completely conk out. After leaving it for a few minutes it would start up and run fine again, but after cutting some more it would again bog out and shut off. Now I can't get it to start at all. HELLLPPP PLEASE, what do I do now???
AnswerHello Dan:
Open the Main Air Mixture Screw 1/4 Turn; it Sounds like it is Set a Little too Lean. Change the Filter in the Gas Tank. If you Hit a Snag or this Does Not Correct the Problem, I am Here if You Require More Assistance. Hope this Helps. Let me Know What Happens, Please. Have a Happy Holiday Season and May the All Mighty Bless You and Yours. Be Safe and Happy. Thanks.
Good Luck
