Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Ryobi 725R 31cc timing, question pool, mechanical problems
Question This is the first time I have rebuilt a 2cycle 2stroke. I was wondering how to time it?
AnswerHello Darrell:
Sorry for the Delay. This Question was Located in the Question Pool. The Only Timing for a 2 Cycle Engine is the Flywheel Key. The Flywheel Key Times the Plug Firing. On a 4 Cycle Engine you have the Cam to Crankshaft Timing that Times the Valves and the Flywheel Key Also Times the Plug Firing. If you Hit a Snag or this Does Not Correct the Problem, I am Here if You Require More Assistance. Hope this Helps. Let me Know What Happens, Please. Thanks.
