Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Troybilt tiller, forward engagement, time attention
QuestionI have a 1993 model 8 horse Troybilt tiller. After installing a new belt, I cannot get the adjustment right to keep it from slipping out of gear (for lack of a better term) when under load. I have adjusted the sliding bar thing up and down several times...up and down... but simply can't seem to get it right. I have done it according to the manual and have the adjustment tool that the factory provided. It will still till of you hold down on the forward engagement lever all the time you are tilling...not a very apealing future.
Thank You very much for your time & attention!
