Thanks for the info.  Is it actually necessary to set valve clearance when replacing the head gasket?  Or is it just a good idea?

On the OHV Engines; Yes, it is Necessary to Reset the Valves. The New Gasket and the New Torque Changes the Valve Clearance by .003in to .005in and that is Enough to Cause Problems with the Engine Running Properly. Hope this Helps.
