Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Missing key for Craftsman 6.5, missing key, model numbers
QuestionI was given a nearly new Craftsman 6.5 walk behind mower, model 917.378461, but the previous owner cannot find the starter key. What is my best solution here?
AnswerHello Keith:
Your Local Small Engine Service Center Should have a Replacement Key. It is a Standard Mower Ignition Key According to the Breakdown. Sears Part Number 180331. Go to this Site Addy, http://www3.sears.com/ and Enter the Model Numbers in the Upper Left Search Box and Click Go. Then Visually Verify the Equipment and Click Continue. From this Page you can View Diagrams or Parts Lists for you Equipment. Hope this Helps. I am Here if You Require More Assistance. Let me Know What Happens, Please. Thanks.
Good Luck
