Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Lawn Boy Repair-How To, assembly drawings, engine assembly
QuestionI have a Silver Pro Series Self Propelled walk behind mower, model #10323, that I need some repair advice on. The muffler guard has broken away from the bolts that are holding it on to the engine assembly. I have contacted Lawnboy and am told that the guard and the muffler are sold as one piece. My question is, how or where can I find out how to take off the old muffler/guard combination and put the new one on? Lawn Boy couldn't help me with this very well. I checked with a local repair facility and they will charge as much to fix this as it would be to buy a whole new mower. I am fairly handy but need a guide on how to do it. Is there anything online or can you direct me on how to repair this? Thanks!
AnswerHello Gary:
Usually a Breakdown of the Mower Shows how the Mower is Assemblied and Most Time you can Use it with Few Questions to Make Most Repairs to your Mower. You can View a Breakdown/IPL of the Mower at this Site Addy, https://lookup3.toro.com/partdex/default.cfm?xCaller=LawnBoy and Select Start Parts Viewer. Then Enter the Model Numbers and Click Search. Then Select View Assembly Drawings. Then Select the Component you Wish to View. Select the Engine Assembly Drawings File. I am here if you Require more Detailed Instructions Also. Hope this Helps. I am Here if You Require More Assistance. Let me Know What Happens, Please. Thanks.
Good Luck
