Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): mower wont start, spark testers, spark plug

hi eric i have a victa 2 stroke mower i cant get it to start i have checked the spark it has plenty of that i think it could be a fuel problem i would like to know if theres any way to check if its gettin enough

I would start by replacing the spark plug and changing the fuel.  As for your spark question, most of the inline spark testers have a .166 gap which simulates spark under compression conditions.  I have only found one ignition module that would show spark by grounding the spark plug but would not spark across the ignition tester.
How old is the mower?
