Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): transmission rider lawn mower sears, hello bill, model numbers

Question
I can start in neutral> when I put it in gear it starts moving. The speeds seem to work but I cant stop or go to neutral. I have to turn the engine off in order to get  to neutral again. I can use this mower but not being able to stop is a challenge. Ant ideas??  Thanks  Bill

From your Description, it Sounds like the Brakes Require Adjusting and the Shifter Clutch Pins in the Transaxle May be Worn. Send me the Model Numbers Off the Mower, Please.
