Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Craftsman leaves brown streaks, craftsman riding mower, brown streaks

Question
I have a 42" Craftsman riding mower that randomly leaves brown streaks in the grass. It looks like it's right down the middle, and they are about 6-8 inches wide. It's fairly random, however, it might happen when I change direction (forward to reverse). I cannot find a leak, but I'm not a mechanic either. I drove it on the pavement to simulate grass cutting and did not find any leaks.

Send me the Model Numbers Off the Mower, Please. With these I can Locate the Proper Manual and Better Assist you. Is there Any Obvious Fluid Loss from the Engine or Transaxle? Does Any of the Spindle Assemblies Seem to be Loosing Grease? Thanks.
