Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): craftsman gasoline engine, tecumseh engine, gasoline engine

my husband has a craftsman engine.  
the model number is 143 629012 - serial number is 2123.  He contacted Sears and they told him it was a tecumseh and there was no manual available for it.  can you tell me what horsepower it is and if there is any manual/literature/parts list available.
