Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Honda HR214SX, arinet, american honda
QuestionSpring, shift lever. Bought a new one but is is a little more difficult to replace than I thought. What is the easiest way to put the new spring on. Also I want to replace the blade. Has two bolts and they are really tight.
Thanks in advance
AnswerHello Tom:
Are you Asking About the Clutch Spring at the Handle Bars or the Clutch Return Spring at the Engine? I use a Rope Tied In a Circle and Hook The Spring and then Stretch the Spring to the Connection Point and then Attach it at the Handle Bar Lever. You can View a Breakdown/IPL of the Mower at this Site Addy, http://hayward.arinet.com/scripts/EmpartISAPI.dll?MF&app=ASP&lang=EN&TF=Mainfram... and Select the Catalog American Honda. Then Select Lawn Mower. Then Scroll Down to Your Mower and Select it. Now Select the Handle Bar File. You Can See the Springs Listed as Breakdown/IPL # 15 and # 4 Respectively. Hope this Helps. I am Here if You Require More Assistance. Let me Know What Happens, Please. Thanks.
Good Luck
