Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Toro 8-25 Model 56127 riding lawn mower, spindle bearings, wheel bearings
Question Recently needed to replace the front tie rods and now find the front end needs alignment (wheels toe out). How do you adjust the front end alignment on these Toro Models? (Not in manual)Received from father as hand me down, so I do not have a history of repairing.
AnswerNot really a lot you can do. This mower was built in 1989 or 1990. Everything in the front end is just worn out.
All you can do is replace some more parts.
Replace the axle spindle bearings, #27-9080 and the wheel bearings, #251-210 this will definitely help but may not completely cure the problem. You will be out probably 20.00 for all the parts. If after this it still toes out whack one of the spindles with a BFH until the toe is correct. Take the spindle out first. The front end might not be able to handle the hammer.
