Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Another Sears Lawnmower, joseph c, lawnmower

This thing will not start has no spark and has an electric start as a backup, any ideas, it ran last year but not this year.  I am at a lost on this one.

What is the model number?  Did you remove the engine shroud to gain access to the ignition coil?  Did you dis-connect the small wire connected to the coil, remove the plug, re-install the shroud so you can pull the string and check for spark?
