Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Kohler Engine back fire, friday night bowling, bowling league
QuestionI have a KOHLER ENGINE # CH18GST SPEC # 62612 SER # 3117501781 I recently did a tune up on it, changed plugs oil and oil filter. The engine started and ran great. I then noticed the fuel filter had some dirt in it,so I changed it I tried to start the engine and it was cranking and I noticed the fuel filter had no fuel in it. I placed my hand over the intake to help choke it some and I heard it back fire. Now when I turn the key to start I have nothing no power at all for anything. Is there a fuse some where I need to replace?
thanks
AnswerJust got home from my Friday night bowling league. The Budweiser flows pretty free on a Friday night . I'll ponder your question and reply tomorrow.
But even after a few Buds I can tell you that what you did would not cause a cranking problem. What type of mower is this in, model number and brand of tractor would be a great help.
