Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): 5 HP OHV tiller engine, rocker arm, exhaust valve

my friend is rebuilding a % HP tiller engine  (126402-0206).   He is not quite sure how to set the valves.   could you help us?

Hello Wayne:

Set the Engine at TDC. Then Using a Blade Feeler Gauge, Set the Intake Valve to .002in - .004in and the Exhaust Valve to .008in - .010in. The Gap you are Setting is Between the Valve Stem Top and the Rocker Arm. Hope this Helps. I am here if you Require more Assistance. Let me know what Happens, Please. Thanks.
