Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): tdc and valves, hp briggs, proper manuals

hi, I'm working on a 5.5 hp Briggs, and I'm wondering what is the procedure to do the tdc. if i did it correctly and i got alittle more clearance on both valve. do i need to tap or grind the seats or replaced the valves and tappets itself.

Sorry for the Delay. This Question was in the Question Pool. If I Understand your Question; you are Working on an Older Model Engine that the Valve Stem has to be Ground Down to Set the Valve Clearance. If this is So, then As Long as the Gap is Not Excessive, you should have No Problems. If you Happened to Go to Far, then Replace the Valve. Hope this Helps. I am here if you Require more Assistance.
