Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): briggs and stratton 8hp generator, briggs and stratton, engine crankshaft

I have already disassembled the generator. I realized it's all one piece, question is how does the splash fork or whatever go on the rocker arm.(the little bar on the rocker bolt)

How do you take it apart need to put another engine in or fix this one.

 Hello Brandon:

 Send me the Make and Model Numbers Off of the Generator, Please. With these I can Locate a Breakdown/IPL for you to View Online. This Breakdown/IPL will Assist you More than I can in Removing the Generator from the Engine. However, I will tell you that the Generator will have to be Disassembled to Remove the Armature from the Engine Crankshaft. Hope this Helps. I am here if you Require more Assistance. Thanks.
