Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Kohler K532, bolt pattern, driving distance

Hi John,

Am wondering if you know the difference between a Kohler K532S and a K532QS?

Am looking for a replacement engine for my JD 400 and a guy has the 532S advertised locally.  Just wondering if it will work and what is different about it.

 Hello Steve:

 If the Engine is Local and Within Driving Distance. Check the Crankshaft Length and Diameter. The Bolt Pattern will be the Same. I can not Locate the K532QS Engine in my Manuals or Online. Hope this Helps. I am here if you Require more Assistance. Thanks.
