hi  what  are the probable cause of backfiring on start with this generator honda engine. thanks for any information you could share with me.

i   my self   have  on  one of my  own   units...  a honda gx 270.   i have same problem  if you dont get it running right off.   i have tried,  and tried  different things,   i   know i will not own  a honda power plant  again. exspencive in parts as well.   Sorry to say  i   cant,  really give you imformation  on this.   i  deal  with it  as well.   again  sorry.
