hello, i have one of those "BRUTE" snowblowers and if its not one thing going wrong...its the other.Now the engine is constantly up and down, and its backfiring alot.the plug is clean and the gas/oil are fresh.air intake is clean as well.Only thing left to do is pull apart the carb and give it a good cleaning but i thought i would ask you if there were a simple explanation.This thing is only 3 years old and It truely defines the word "EXPENSIVE JUNK".Thanks,rich in British Columbia, Canada.

sounding to me like maybe an adjustment is needed.    fuel mixture needle,   tec.  should be on  bowl nut.  turn it out a little.  should be 1 and 1 half turns out from  seat bottom.   give air needle same.   give that a try.  tweak them  as needed til it runs  best.
