Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Ran Over a Rock on My Mower, riding lawn mower, engine stall
QuestionI ran over a rock using my riding mower and there was a definite loss of power. Although the mower can still cut the grass, the engine power is reduced. Husqvarna Riding Lawn Mower with 15 HP Kawasaki V-Twin OHV Engine , 42in. Deck

Answer Hello Mike:
Sorry for the Delay. When you Hit the Rock, Did the Engine Stall Out? Is the Power Loss With the Blades Engaged or Only when the Blades are Engaged? Check the Cutter Deck for a Damaged Quill or Mandrel. The Quill/Mandrel is the Housing that Allow the Blades to Turn. You can View a Breakdown of the Mower at this Addy http://www.partstree.com/parts/ and Select the Brand. Then Select the File for Rider Mower. Then Select the File for your Mower. Then Select the Sub File that Contains the Section of the Mower you Wish to View. If the Power Loss is in the Engine, then the Flywheel Key is Most likely Damaged and Require Replacing. Hope this Helps. I am here if you Require more Assistance. Let me know what Happens, Please. Thanks.
Good Luck
Respectfully
John
