Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Craftsman engine, first models, tecumseh engine

Hello. I am trying to get some information on an old engine. Here is what is on the cover: Craftsman cast iron extra long life engine. Sold state ignition. The numbers are: 143-680032 SER 0088E. I would like to know the horsepower, and it is a craftsman engine, but who actually makes it? Any other info would be appreciated. Thanks alot!

 This a Tecumseh Engine. You can View a Breakdown/IPL of the Engine at this Addy http://www.outdoordistributors.com/ and Click the T. Then Select Tecumseh. Then Select Don't have Part Numbers. Then Enter the Part Numbers 143.680032 and Click Go. Then Click on Download File. This will Download the Breakdown/IPL of the Engine. This is a 4hp Horizontal Engine.
