Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): ignition wiring, briggs stratton, safety switches

i just put a bigger motor in my J.D. riding mower. and the wiring on the motor has all the safety switches from the old mower on it and i want to eliminate those and just wire the ignition. what do i need to do and how do i do it? the motor is a briggs & stratton 8.5 hp. model # 198707, type 0141-e1, the last # 9903183b.

 Hello Michael:

 You need 1 Wire from the Ignition Switch to the Starter Soleniod. 1 Wire from the Coil to the Ignition Switch that Grounds the Coil when the Switch is in the Off Position. 1 Wire from the Battery to the Ignition Switch.
