Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Compare Transmissions, degree slope, hydrostatic transmission

I am in the market for a new lawn tractor and have gotten very different opinions on whether I should buy a manual transmission or a hydrostatic transmission.  Most of the yard is pitched at about a 15 degree slope.  Is there a difference between the performance of the two transmissions and will one hold up to an inclined yard better than the other?

 Hello R.:

 I Prefer the Hydro Transaxle for Any Yard. As Long as you are Not Over 25 to 30 degrees for Extended Periods of Time, you will have No Problems Out of a Hydro.
