Mastercraft 28E700 Riding Lawn Mower, Briggs and Stratton Engine

The engine will only turn over once and then stops.  Any idea what the problem is?

 Check the Battery Voltage. It Should be 12.0VAC Minimum. Check the Starter for Dragging. It can be the Valve Lash needs to be Adjusted. Send me the Model, Type and Code Numbers Off of the Engine, Please. With these Numbers I can Locate a Breakdown/IPLa and Better Assist you. Thyanks.
