Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): starter handle on weedeater, recoil spring, nylon string

Question
John, I have a "Weedeater" model SST25 nylon string trimmer, lately when i start it the starter handle will not retract back into the unit. I am still able to start the trimmer, but once it is started the chord just hangs loose and gets in the way. I am not real handy,so is this something i might attempt to fix myself.

 Send me the Models Numbers Off of the Engine, Please. With the Model Numbers I can Locate a Breakdown for you to View Online and you can then Decide if you Wish to Attempt this Repair. The Recoil Spring has Jumped and needs to be Tightened. Thanks.
