THE ENGINE WILL RUN FOR A FEW SECONDS AT IDLE ,YET WHEN THE THROTTLE IS ADVANCED IT WILL NOT INCREASE SPEED.

 When you Increase the Engine Speed, Does the Engine Quit or the Engine Just Doesnt Rev up? Send me the Model, Type and Code Numbers Off of the Engine, Please. With these I can Locate a Breakdown of the Engine and Better Assist you. The Governor Spring May be Broken or has Jumped Off. Hope this Helps.
