Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Weed Eater will not start, weedeater, spark arrestor

Question
I have a Poulan SST25 Featherlite Weedeater that will not start. I have cleaned carb, new plug. Do not believe I am getting a spark. I have tried every technique I know to test for spark. I  have repaired my mowers for years but this is my first weedeater. Any suggestions will be appreciated.

 Hello John:

 UnPlug the Kill Switch and Check for Fire. If No Fire the Ignition Module/Coil is Bad. If Fire, then the Switch or Wire to the Switch is Bad. Remove the Muffler and Check the Exhaust Port for Blockage. Check the Muffler and Spark Arrestor(located in the Muffler) for Blockage. Go to this Addy http://www.poulan.com/manuals_search.asp and Click on the Download Manuals. Then Enter the Model Number. Then Select the Parts Manual. This will Download a Breakdown of the Trimmer.
