Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): unable to adjust speed from slow to fast, craftsman eager 1, engine numbers

Question -
I have a Craftsman Eager-1 5.5HP Sn 110795M002091 Model 917.373854. My problem was that the mower would start but would die after 30 seconds or so. I rebuilt the carb and can get it started OK, but I can't get it to go from slow to fast with the lever which shows a "Turtle" then a Rabbit. I think I messed the two linkages. Can you help me? I don't have a diagram which shows me how to hook them up correctly.

 Can you Check the Model Number Again, Please. Im not Finding this Model Number in my Manuals. Also, I require the Model Numbers Off of the Engine, Please. The Engine Numbers will Allow me to View a Breakdown of the Engine and Carburator. Thanks.

 Go to this Addy http://www.outdoordistributors.com/ and Click on the T. Then Click on Tecumseh. Then Click on Dont Have Part Number. Then Enter the Model Number 143.955500. Then Click Download IPL. This will Download the Breakdown for your Engine and the Carburator. Hope this Helps. Let me know what Happens, Please. Thanks.
