Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Lawn Mower cuts off, honda push mower, carburator

Question
My Honda push mower ran fine... until I brought it into a shop to have the blades sharpened.  I haven't been able to get it started since.  I replaced the spark plug and it starts up strong, but dies right away.  Can you help?

 Hello Pat:

 Lightly Tap the Carburator Just Above the Bowl. The Carburator Float May be Stuck. Check the Gas Flow to the Carburator. I Suggest the Carburator be Cleaned and Rebuilt if Lightly Tapping the Carburator Doesnt Help. Hope this Helps. Let me know what Happens, Please. Thanks.
