Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): B& S doesnt get fire, snapper riding mower, safety switches
Questioni have a older snapper riding mower i had just replaced the carb on.. It started fine.. then upon final assembly it will not start and isnt getting fire.. How can i test the engine by bypassing all the safety switches and such . the motor has electric and pull start
Answer Hello Arron:
Disconnect the Coil Shutoff Wire as Close to the Coil as Possible. If the Engine Has Fire when this is Done, then One of the Safety Switches is Stopping the Engine from Firing. Make Sure you Didnt Pinch the Shutoff Wire while Working on the Mower. Check the Neutral Safety First. Send me the Model Numbers Off of the Mower and the Engine Numbers, Please. With these I May be Able to Locate a Breakdown of the Mower and the Engine and Better Assist you. Hope this Helps. Let me know what Happens, Please. Thanks.
Good Luck
