and would like a manualor complete info on line.

I don't know of any manuals on the internet unless you are a Briggs dealer...but even we don't use this service.  Paper manuals from Briggs or e-bay are cheap and more convient to have on hand.

Have you priced over-hauling versus a short-block or complete new engine?

A proper over-haul with machine work, new pistons, rods, valves can cost as much as a short-block or engine.  In fact, we have not overhauled an engine is over 10 years...not even our own.  It's cheaper and quicker to replace the short-block or entire engine.
