Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Homelite Chain Saw, excessive oil, oil flow

Homelite Chain Saw UR#10653 Serial#H13560538.
The auto oiler allows excessive oil onto the chain. Is there a way to adjust or repair the oil flow onto the chain?

Hi Jim,

Sorry, it's been a while since I have worked on your model.  There may be a small screw to adjust the oil flow or an orefice that might have fallen out.  Unless the oil is excessive or constantly leaking, a good flow which sprays the wood slightly, is normal.
