Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): lawn mower wont run, fuel nozzle, carburator
QuestionI have trying to get my craftsman mower eager 1 to work. I have replaced the fuel nozzle o rings the needle, seat, float, and gasket. It now starts so that is an improvement but it dies..... I am stumped as what to do next. If I push the primer bulb it feels like air but when I look down the air filter I see it bubbling up. I can make it run longer if I keep pressing the primer bulb. any advice would be helpful..Scout5
Answer Hello Scout5:
Did you Soak the Carburator in Cleaning Solution? Gas turns into a Varnish over Time and Cloggs the Ports and Passages Inside the Carburator. The Only way to Properly Remove the Varnish is Soaking the Carburator. Also Be Sure to Replace the Primer Bulb Whenever you Rebuild the Carburator. It Sounds Like the Jets Inside the Carburator are Still Clogged. Hope this Helps. Let me know what Happens, Please.
Good Luck
