Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): craftsman push mower, push mower, model numbers

I need to replace the pull cord on my craftsman push mower. I don't know how to remove the cover that covers the pull cord it looks like rivets that holds this cover on. How do I replace the pull cord when I can't remove this? Help please!

 Hello Sherry:

 You Remove the Metal Engine Cover that the Starter Recoil is Rivited to. If you will Send the Model Numbers Off of the Engine (located most times on the metal engine cover) I May be Able to Locate a Diagram to assit you in this Repair. Hope this Helps. Let me know what Happens, Please.
