Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Toro Weed Eater, weed trimmers, carbon buildup
QuestionHello John,
I have a Toro weedeater that is losing power, won't stay running, I have changed the plug but that doesn't seem to be the answer. Do you have any suggestions that might help?
Dave
Answer Hello Dave:
1- Check the Muffler and the Exhaust Port for Carbon Buildup. 2- Check the Muffler Spark Arrestor Screen and Ensure it isnt Clogged up. Carbon Buildup in the Muffler, Arrestor Screen or Exhaust Port is Commonly the Reason for Slowly Losing Power on All Weed Trimmers. Hope this Helps. Let me know what Happens, Please.
Good Luck
Respectfully
John
