Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): B & S engine surge, s yard, uphill grade

Question
I have a 10hp B&S Yard Machine rider. It has recently started surging after a short amount of use especially on an uphill grade or higher grass. No prev prob, I have ran carb cleaner through.  Help would be appreciated.

 Hello Dick:

 It Sounds like the Carb Requires Cleaning and Overhauling. Trash is inside the Carb and is Stopping up the Fuel Jet. Carb Cleaner in the Gas isnt going to Help. it will have to be Disassemblied. Hope this Helps. Let me Know What Happens.
