Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Smoking engine, combustion chamber, rubber tube
QuestionHave a riding lawnmoxer with a B&S engine w/ohv. It started to smoke when mowing on a tilt carb side down. Smokes really bad but clears up as soon as level again. I assume oil is getting into combustion chamber somehow when I tilt but do not know what to go fix?
Answer Hello John:
The Crankcase Vent is Bad. It is Supposed to Allow Pressure to be Vented from the Crankcase to the Carb and not let Oil Vent. It is Connected to the Carb by a Rubber Tube. Replace the Crankcase Vent and the Smoking on the Hills will Stop. Hope this Helps. Let me know what Happens, Please.
Good Luck
