QuestionEric,
I have a honda rider about 10 years old. The steering has become really hard. I have sprayed lubricant on all i could reach. It has been serviced in a while. Do you think greasing thru the fittings will correct the problem?
Ron
AnswerGreasing will certainly not hurt anything.
I would recommend cleaning the steering parts very thoroughly with parts cleaner and water. Once the parts are clean you can visually inspect for wear.
Check the steering shaft, worm/fan gears and the front axle parts.
I would also remove the front wheels and inspect the bearing/bushings in the rims along with the axles for wear.
Let me know what you find.
Eric
