Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): no spark, self propelled mower, spark plug

i have a honda self propelled mower i took the spark plug out an there was no fire i replace it with another plug still no fire an help?

You will have to remove the upper engine plastic/metal to gain access to the coil.

Honda uses a couple of different ignition systems.  If you have a single, one piece coil you can dis-connect the small diameter/gauge ground wire from the coil.  Check for spark.  If you have spark then the coil is fine and maybe you need to adjust the engine shut-off cable.

If you have a Honda with a blade clutch then you will have to inspect the shut-off cable.
