Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): crafstman 6.0 mower, carburator, delivery problem

My crafstman will not start.When I prime it it will run for a few secs and then shut off. I think ther may be something in the carburator but not sure how or what to do.

Sounds like a fuel delivery problem for sure.  Drain your tank, put a little more gas in it, slosh it around, drain again.  Under the carburator theres a fuel bowl.  Remove the the single large screw holding in on and let it drain.  Now add a wee bit of gas to the tank, and let it drain out through the bowl.  Close her up, add a cup of gas and try it again.
