Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): 23 hp ohv briggs, air filter element, inline filter

my 23 vanguard wont start unless i have the throttle wide open! is there anyway i could fix this?

Hiya Justin!
You definately have a air/fuel problem.

1-Starting with the gas tank- flush it out, verify that flow out of the tank pickup is ok and not clogged.
2-Inspect the fuel line for leaks, and there should be an inline filter that may be clogged.
3-Inspect the connection to the carb for leaks.
4-Replace the air filter element.

Lemme know if this doesn't help- we'll go into it further.
