Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): John Deere cutting out, john deere riding lawn mower, john deere dealership
QuestionI have a John Deere riding lawn mower that is 6 years old with 450 hours. It has a 20hp Kawasaki engine. I will mow with the tractor for about 30 minutes, and then it will start cutting out, and then stall like it is overheating. I have had it to the John Deere dealership too many times to count, and they just keep running up the bill. Any suggestions.
Answer Hello Matt:
Does the Engine have Fire to the Spark Plug when this happens. 1- If no then The Ignition Module in the Coil is going Bad. Replace the Coil. 2- If yes then Check the Fuel line and make sure it not run where it can get hot and Vapor Lock. 3- Also check the Muffler and make sure it isnt Clogged any at all. Hope this Helps.
Good Luck
Respectfully
John
