Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Craftsman riding lawn mower, craftsman riding lawn mower, safety switches

Question
I have a 3 yr old 16.hp craftsman ridiing lawnmower. I was cutting grass and it stopped.. Cant get it re started. It turns over, but doesnt get spark to start. Have changed several parts. What can it be?

 Hello Tom:

 Before we go any farther you will have to make sure ALL the Safety Switches are GOOD. The most common cause of this problem is the Safety Switches. Also the Ignition Switch can be your Problem. If these are not the cause of the problem, Let me know. Hope this Helps.
