Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): lose of power, briggs stratton, roto tiller

hi,i have a 5 horse power briggs&stratton moter on a roto tiller,it run but doesnt have any digging power,what do you think the problam would be

 Hello Rick:

 It coul be several things. 1- Low Cylinder Compression. 2- Carb needs Cleaned and Overhauled. 3- Blocked or clogged Exhaust port/muffler. 4- Binding in Tiller Drive System. Hope this Helps.
