Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): mower deck, cub cadet mower, loose hope

Question
I have a cub cadet mower about 4 years old with a 42 inch mowing deck. when i pull the lever to engage the deck nothing happens. What do you think the problem could be. Thanks for your answer. RAF

 There are 3 Reason for your Problem. 1- The Deck Drive Belt is Broken. 2- Depending on the Model Cadet you have, it could the Blade Belt. Some Models have 3 Belts and the Others have 2 Belts. 3- The Linkeage Under the Mower has Broken or Just Came Loose.  Hope this Helps.
