Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Honda GX22 stalling, mini tiller, honda 4 stroke

Question -
We have a Mantis mini tiller with a Honda 4 stroke engine.  It starts and runs fine until you apply full throttle at which point it dies.  If you release the throttle quickly enough it will remain running.  The only carburator adjustment is an idle screw.

 I have a Mantis Myself.  Clean and Rebuild the Carb. That will Cure the Problem.  Hope this Helps.

We seem to have solved the problem.  We tried a new spark plug with no success.  We then cleaned the gas cap air filter with pressurized air and the problem was solved.

 Thats a First. I can see where that would Cause the Problem Creating Suction in the Tank when The Engine Requires More Gas.  Thanks for the Report, I will Put it on My List of Possible Causes.
