Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Craftsman Lawn Tractor wont start, craftsman lawn tractor, safety switches

OK...determined problem to be lack of spark in both spark plugs. Could this be solenoid or Magneto Group? If so, how do I test? - Thanks again!

Hi Dan,

As long as the safety switches (Under the seat and attached to the blade engagement lever.) are good and the wiring to the ignition coil is good but still no spark, then the coil is most likely bad.  I don't know how to test them and usually replace with new.
