Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Cub Cadel Series 2000 model HDS 2155 riding lawn mower, lawn mower, pulley

Cub Cadel Series 2000 model HDS 2155 riding lawn mower.   I have replaced 3 deck belts on this mower this summer.  They all get torn up.  I am wondering why.  I thought these belts would last at least 2 years or so.  Thanks for your help.  This machine is driving me crazy (literally!!).

I once had a mower to the same thing...I believe the deck was warped because I replaced everything on the deck but still had the same problem.

I would start by checking all the deck bearings and pulleys.  You can ckeck for play by turning the parts by hand. Check to see how easy they turn, the side-to-side play and make sure the pulley surfaces are not rough.
