Questionwhat would cause gas to get into the air filter,and how could that be fixed.

AnswerNormally the inlet needle inside the carb does not seat for what ever reason; maybe some dirt, water, or even bad gas.
We remove, dis-assemble and clean the carb with compressed air from an air compressor. Usually we replace the needle and seat as well. Along with cleaning the carb we drain the tank and blow it out as well.
Does this help? Check your engine oil as well...gas may have gotten in it.
